American Idol Loses Audience, but Archuleta Charms Viewers
After American Idols auto insurance Night quite disappointed
everybody, its no surprise the show lost around 6 million viewers, as

Still, Idol led the night shows in terms of numbers, with around 24
million viewers.

David Cook dropped his usual rocker attitude for a corny one, flashing
his palm, on which he had written Give Back, to the camera.
Brooke White managed to destroy Carole Kings Youve Got a Friend,
while Carly Smithson sang a much uninspired, aggressive version of

Jason Castro made a good choice with Israel Kamakawiwo'oles version
of Over the Rainbow, which he performed complete with ukulele.

Returning to Reuters poll, the fans also had the occasion to judge
the judges, and the results were quite surprising. Although the
majority of the voters classified Simon Cowell as rude, 64 percent

Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul each received around 17 percent of the
remaining votes.
